Associate of Science
The Associate of Science in Criminal Justice program could help you launch a new career. It can also act as a base to continue your education in criminal justice. Our program is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in the theories and techniques used in both the public and private sectors of law enforcement, corrections, or security.
Externships can provide you with the practical experience needed to be successful in your chosen career field. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded an associate of science degree.

Program Outcomes
The criminal justice program is designed to prepare graduates to meet the following outcomes:
Demonstrate an understanding of biological, sociological, and psychological theories of
crime causation and discipline-specific evaluation of human behavior
Demonstrate the ability to apply principles of criminal law to criminal justice practice and
understand the civil liabilities of criminal justice agencies and practitioners
Demonstrate the ability to utilize information and resources to make sound decisions in
criminal justice agencies
