From bustling urban settings to exhilarating natural beauty, New
Hampshire has it all. While the campus is located in an urban setting,
it is easy to experience the outdoor wonders of New Hampshire. Within
easy commuting distance of our facility, students can find opportunities
for cross country and downhill skiing, scuba diving, hiking, golf,
tennis, sailing, and more.
Manchester Campus Facilities
Our Manchester campus is located in the Hesser Center of Commerce and
Education, a major complex of businesses that includes corporate
offices, a childcare center, local television stations, a restaurant,
and other enterprises. Hesser College occupies one-third of the complex,
but the mixture and proximity of these businesses to the College
provide unique employment and educational opportunities for students.
Our distinctive Manchester facility houses classrooms, lab
facilities, the library, the Center for Teaching, Learning, and
Assessment, administration offices, and the student residences. The nine
residence halls include Joel, Hesser, Lord, Bryan, Daniels, Eastman,
Concord, Keegan, and Amoskeag and are all located in the main facility.
Bookstore
The Hesser College bookstore is conveniently located on the first
floor, just off the main lobby, and is easily accessible from all
classrooms and residence halls. The bookstore stocks all required
textbooks for courses offered at Hesser College. Additionally, a large
selection of study guides and school supplies are made available to help
ensure your success in the classroom. The bookstore is also your local
convenience store, stocking a wide selection of snacks, drinks,
newspapers, magazines, and numerous other items. Be sure to check out
the selection of Hesser gear: sweatshirts, t-shirts, shorts, hats, and
many other apparel items, which are designed to show your school spirit
and pride.
Computer and Electronics Communications
Computer equipment, email accounts, facsimile equipment, and Internet
access are provided to students at Hesser College exclusively for
educational activities.
Equipment
All locations operate computer laboratories to serve the computer
curriculum requirements of the instructional programs. The west
wing of the Manchester campus houses hands-on, fully equipped
laboratories for the medical programs. In addition, Hesser College
boasts a fitness center that includes cardiovascular and muscle-toning
equipment, as well as free weights available to all students, faculty,
and staff. The communications laboratory, located in Manchester, contains a
fully equipped and operational AM radio station, television studio, and
editing suites. Designed to give students hands-on training with
equipment similar to what is found on job sites, the radio station also
gives students experience by broadcasting programs throughout the
building.
Concord Location
The Concord instructional site offers an ideal environment for
effective learning. Our three-story building located in the Gateway
Center at 25 Hall Street includes approximately 12,000 square feet of
space.
This setting includes thirteen classrooms, three computer labs,
library services, a student and faculty lounge area, and a campus
bookstore. Additional office and storage space is also available to
accommodate additional enrollment and staffing needs. Also located
onsite are the Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions
departments.
Nashua Location
Conveniently located near the Massachusetts border, our
Nashua location provides easy access to New Hampshire's Lake District,
the White Mountains, and local shops and attractions. Our
Nashua instructional site is conveniently located at 410 Amherst Street
and offers easy access to main thoroughfares and public transportation.
Our comprehensive facility houses all classrooms, lab facilities, the
library, and administrative offices, as well as a bookstore and lounge
for students.
Laboratory facilities include computer programming labs, an early
childhood education lab, and a new graphic design lab. Also located
onsite are the Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Admissions
departments.
Portsmouth Location
Our Portsmouth instructional site is conveniently located at 170
Commerce Way and offers easy access to main thoroughfares and public
transportation. Portsmouth is at the hub of a metropolitan region that
includes several small cities and many towns. Employment opportunities
for students can be found in the area's businesses and government.
Our comprehensive facility houses all classrooms, lab facilities, the
library, and administrative offices, as well as a bookstore and lounge
for students.
Laboratory facilities include computer programming labs, a medical
assistant lab, an early childhood education lab, and a new massage
therapy clinic. Also located onsite are the Financial Aid, Student
Accounts, and Admissions departments.
Salem Location
Recently relocated to 11 Manor Parkway, our Salem site occupies over
16,000 square feet of classroom, lab, and administrative space. This new
location offers expanded educational space and offers easy access to
main thoroughfares and public transportation.
Our comprehensive facility houses all classrooms, lab facilities,
a library, and administrative offices, as well as a bookstore and
lounge for students. There are laboratory facilities for the following
programs: early childhood education, medical assistant, massage therapy,
and information technology. Also located onsite are the Financial Aid,
Student Accounts, and Admissions departments.
