Designed to prepare you for entry-level positions in the field of massage therapy, our Massage Therapy Diploma program introduces you to the following:

  • The history of massage therapy
  • How nutrition and organ structure and function affect massage
  • Proper massage table technique and basic hygiene procedures
  • Massage techniques such as deep tissue, neurovascular massage,
    sports massage, and the use of water as a therapeutic tool
  • Basic business procedures and charting client progress

Through our massage therapy program, you can receive the necessary knowledge and skills to take a New Hampshire state approved written exam and the New Hampshire state practical licensing exam, if applicable.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded a diploma.

  • Explain the basics of chakra and Five Element theories
  • Explain the history of massage therapy
  • Define basic organ structure and function
  • Chart clients’ intake and progress
  • Demonstrate ROM
  • Demonstrate and explain basic health and hygiene procedures
  • Demonstrate stress relieving techniques to include the use of hot and cold techniques
  • Demonstrate and explain advanced techniques such as deep tissue, neuromuscular
    massage, and the use of water as a therapeutic tool
  • Explain and perform muscle testing to identify specific muscles
  • Define and explain basic business procedures
  • Obtain CPR certification
  • Demonstrate the core techniques of sports massage
  • Explain the role of nutrition as it affects the client and massage therapist
  • Write a resume, prepare for interviews, and conduct a professional job search
