Library
Hesser College offers library services through the K.W.G. Memorial Library at the Manchester location, with online library resources available through the Kaplan Online Library.

Academic Skills Center
The Center is dedicated to offering programs and services that will give each student the opportunity to succeed at Hesser College and in his or her chosen career. Services are for both day and continuing education populations and include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Nationally Certified Peer Tutoring Program
- Computerized Basic Skills Assessments
- Assistance for students on academic probation
- Services for students with documented disabilities
Tutoring
If you need extra academic assistance, you can arrange for tutoring through the Academic Skills Center. Faculty and peer tutors are available to help prepare you for exams, assist with term papers, or sharpen your skills. Tutoring schedules are available at each instructional location.

Monday through Thursday: 7:30 am to 8:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
The hours of operation may be modified to accommodate the needs of students, especially around mid-terms and finals.
Graduation Requirements and Information
In order to graduate, students must meet the following requirements:
- Earn the required total number of credit hours for the program and pass all required courses with minimum grades as prescribed in the catalog
- Complete all required coursework within the maximum time frame permitted and obtain a minimum CPGA of 2.0 (some courses require a minimum percentage for successful completion; review the program section of the catalog for specific details on the program)
- Satisfactorily complete the residency requirement
- Complete a Petition to Graduate
- Return all property belonging to the College
- Fulfill all financial obligations to the College and attend Career Services and Financial Aid exit interviews
Commencement Ceremony
While graduation requirements may be completed during any semester or term, the Commencement Ceremony is held each year in May. If you are planning to attend the Commencement Ceremony, you must file a Petition to Graduate in the office of the registrar by March 1 of the graduation year. Students must meet with their Academic Advisors on an ongoing basis to ensure progress toward fulfilling all graduation requirements. For more information regarding the ceremony, please contact the office of the registrar.
Commencement Ceremony Attendance Policy
Students who wish to participate in the May Commencement Ceremony must meet with their Academic Advisor to complete a Petition to Graduate form. The actual degree is not granted until after the student satisfactorily completes the courses that fulfill graduation requirements.
