Associate's Degree
As a student in our Associate of Business Science in Accounting program, you will receive training in accounting theories and principles and the way they are applied in business. You can develop the necessary knowledge and skills to enter the fields of accounting or business.
Program graduates receive the training to analyze, record, and interpret accounting information as it is used by companies and organizations.
Upon successful completion of the accounting program, graduates are awarded an associate of business science degree.

Accounting Program Outcomes
The accounting degree program is designed to prepare graduates to meet the following outcomes:
- Recognize and record accounting transactions and understand their need and importance in supporting the accounting function of business
- Discuss accounting theories and principles related to the accounting process
- Use computer-based accounting software in analysis of and recording of accounting transactions to support the accounting function
- Analyze and apply tax laws and regulations to specific tax problems and situations in business
- Understand and apply tax laws and regulations to specific tax situations and problems in business
